Back in January of 2014, Apple launched a new way to promote the iPad. The campaign called "Your Verse" was a way to connect different kinds of people using iPads to change the world or to inspire others. The minute-and-a-half video was the start of a months-long change to the Apple's iPad website.

The video has a Robin Williams' monologue from the 1989 flick "Dead Poets Society":

"We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry, because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering — these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love — these are what we stay alive for.

"To quote from Whitman: 'O me, O life of the questions of these recurring. Of the endless trains of the faithless. Of cities filled with the foolish. What good amid these, O me, O life? Answer: That you are here. That life exists and identity. That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.'

"What will your verse be?"

The video itself starts with some amazing footage from around the world and only shows an iPad after about 8 seconds into the edited footage. The words do not match the video in the beginning, but they seem to give the viewer the feeling that they belong there after just a few seconds.

Apple's ad shows athletes using an iPad to get better, kids learning about the earth, a DJ entertaining the crowd, engineers working on a wind farm, or a pilot flying his helicopter.

The clip goes on showing footage from India, Japan and some amazing underwater videos.

Apple has honored Robin Williams with a special iTunes page highlighting his movies, comedy routines recordings and TV shows. Robin Williams passed away on Monday.
