Reeder, a mobile-based client for Fever, Readability and Google Reader, has been updated with new features and enhancements that should provide an improved reading experience for iPhone and iPad users alike.

Version 3.0.1 makes the "≡ All Items" view show unread counts instead of item counts, and there’s an option now to disable the display of counts in the app. Users can visit Settings > App Settings to use it.

Reeder now sets the selected view mode globally, not just for the current view (★ Starred / ● Unread / ≡ All Items), and there’s visual feedback now when switching view modes, according to developer Silvio Rizzi.

Last but not least, Reeder 3.0.1 addressed issues with multiple accounts support for Google Reader.

Reeder is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 5.1 or later.
