Intuit has announced that “Quicken Mac 2007 OS X Lion-compatible” is a re-engineered version of Quicken Mac 2007 that will work on OS X 10.7 (Lion).

Quicken 2007 is a popular piece of personal finance software originally coded for PowerPC processors. However, with Apple no longer supporting Rosetta in recent OS X versions, Intuit had to rewrite the software to continue supporting the Mac user base.

The developer clarifies that the latest release of Quicken 2007 is “a modified version of Quicken for Mac 2007 that will work on Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.7 Lion.”

Once installed, customers can choose to either start fresh or migrate their financial data from Quicken for Mac. Users can also import their transactional data from Quicken Essentials. Visit Intuit here to grab “Quicken Mac 2007 OS X Lion compatible.”
