Pod2g seems keen to get 300K pulses rising today with a bunch of tweets regarding his progress on the iOS 5.1.1 front. His latest efforts have revealed that some iOS devices don’t yet support his vulnerability (despite earlier developments indicating that all of them were supported), but that the iPhone 4S is a go.

After confirming his plans to roll out his latest jailbreak within a couple of weeks, Pod2g returned to his 300,000 followers with the following message: “Sad news. Just tested the untether on an iPod 3G. The kernel vulnerability don't happen on this one. I think iPhone 3Gs is out too.”

Minutes later, he was back again with good news: “iPhone 4S 5.1.1 confirmed to work perfect with the upcoming jailbreak.”

Should the hacker keep up this pace, faint-hearted followers may want to check back in a few hours later, just in case Pod2g suddenly discovers other bugs in his jailbreak.
