iOS developer Idea Shower has released an updated installment of its handy offline reading utility for iPhone and iPad, Pocket (Formerly Read It Later) version 5.2, which brings support for new languages and the promise to add more tongues to the mix in a future update.

Arguably one of the best utilities of its kind, Pocket is used by over 10 million customers worldwide for storing interesting stuff on the web, including news articles, photos, videos, recipes... pretty much anything that can be displayed on a web page.

“If it’s in Pocket, it’s on your phone, tablet or computer, even when you’re offline. Perfect for commutes, travel, and curling up on your couch,” says Idea Shower.

To please its customers even more, the company has added new language support. According to the release notes for Pocket 5.2, “Pocket is now translated into the following languages: French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Russian.” Idea Shower promises that “additional languages [are] coming soon.”

To download Pocket (Formerly Read It Later) 5.2, all you need is an iPhone or an iPad that can handle iOS 6.0 and newer firmware. It’s a universal app, meaning it displays full screen and at full resolution on any device model you may have.
