There are four new mini games in this update: Slot Machine, Zombiquarium, Portal Combat, and Beghouled Twist and 28 new achievements: “Earn even more ways to prove your zombie-zapping prowess.”
Players can check out 5 unique Game Center leaderboards and see where they rank, and they can buy brand-new coin packs from the Main Menu.

Most of this goodness applies to the iPad only, but some of the enhancements can also be found in the iPhone version of the game.
Plants vs. Zombies HD is compatible only with the Apple iPad and requires iOS 3.2 or later.
