14 DAY TRIAL // Parallels Inc. has announced the eighth major version of its virtualization software, Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac, instating a free upgrade policy for all buyers of Parallels Desktop 7 after July 25.
The company is yet to release technical details about the new version of its flagship software, but it is reasonable to assume that OS X Mountain Lion and Windows 8 are the key focus of this release.
Customers can buy a Full or Upgrade version of Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac today and they’ll receive an upgrade to the next version at no additional cost on September 4, when version 8 comes out.
