It may sound like magic, but nowadays remote computing solutions are a commodity. Just like running Windows apps on a Mac.
Parallels Access does both, in that it takes your virtualized Windows apps from your desktop Mac and displays them on your iPad.
Sure, things won’t work natively in all circumstances, but the solution works like a charm for the most common chores (office work in general). Don’t expect to level up in World of Warcraft is all I’m saying.
Apparently, Parallels Access was in need of some bug fixes. People dropping reviews on iTunes seem pretty satisfied with their experience, so I’m guessing nothing major has been addressed in this release.
Nonetheless, Parallels version 1.0.1 contains “Bug fixes and stability improvements,” which means it’s probably best to update.
