For those who are reading this on an iPad, know that Oyster version 1.1 now includes full support for Apple tablets, complete with a new set of features geared towards iPad use.
“With this update, you’ll also see a better browsing experience, new updates in the reader, performance improvements throughout the app, and over 2,000 new books added in the past two weeks,” says Studio SBV.
Although the update is also being made available for iPhone and iPod touch, iPad users in particular get a new dark design with more space between elements, for “night-time browsing and a more relaxed user experience,” as well as full-screen browsing with bigger cover images, a landscape-mode for the reader, and the ability to sync your activity and books between different platforms.
