Opera Software ASA today opened up the Opera 21 Developer stream apologizing that the release got delayed because of “unforeseen problems.”

The key changes in this new build are integration of Aura on Windows and full keyboard support for web apps like Google Docs and GitHub on the Mac version of the browser.

For those who aren’t very familiar with some of the terms dished out in this announcement, “Aura is a hardware-accelerated rendering of the browser, including the user-interface,” Opera explains. “This enables less taxing UI animations and a general sleeker and more responsive feel to the whole UI.”

Some small changes are also available, such as a setting to make Opera always show the full URL in the address field. Opera says, “Simply go to ‘Settings | Advanced: Show always full URL in address field’ and it’s ‘Hello, absolute address!’ from then on.”
