Opera Software ASA is out with a new Dev build of its popular web browser for Mac and Windows. The test build includes the invaluable ability to clear session cookies when quitting Opera.

Maria Popova announces the new build on the Opera Desktop Team blog: “Another Opera Developer build is out of the door. You have been waiting for it while we worked on stabilizing Opera 19, but it’s worth the wait.”

“Want to see if the bugs that bothered you are now resolved? Install the updated Opera Developer desktop browser and give it a try,” says the product tester.

The flagship feature in this release is the neat ability to clear session cookies when quitting the browser. Opera 20 Dev also includes a brand spanking new Chrome extensions API (chrome.proxy and chrome.downloads) and changed JavaScript dialogs.

On Windows, users will experience broken extension pop-outs, according to the list of known issues. The full changelog is endless, but you’re more than welcome to have a glance.
