Opera Software is out with a new developer build for avid testers of its web browser, delivering a few fixes but also a new set of instructions to address lingering bugs.

The highlights of this developer release are relatively simple. The update addresses a Battlefield 4 plug-in crash, adds experimental synchronization support, opt-in usage data sharing, and a Bookmarks Bar (renamed from the previous “Quick-Access Bar”).

When Opera 19 Final is released, users will be able to log in with their social network of choice, be it Facebook or Twitter. Google and Opera accounts will also be accepted for Opera Sync. Developers are told to test out this feature for bugs.

Testers are told that, “Initially, only Speed Dials, Stash item, and custom search providers will be synchronized. Support for synchronizing other data and settings will come later.” There’s danger of data loss in this developer build, so read Opera’s documentation carefully.
