The Omni Group’s unique web browser, with its drag-and-drop tabbed windows, built-in web shortcuts, workspaces, and more, is now designed to work with OS X Mavericks only. Well, that is if you want the latest version, of course.

OmniWeb 6.0 R197948 is a “Test” release of the powerful freeware browser from the veteran Mac developers at The Omni Group.

When OmniWeb 6.0 hits “Final” status, it will no longer work with OS X Lion and Mountain Lion (not to mention the four-year old Snow Leopard), and will require users to have OS X 10.9 Mavericks installed.

Avid users will notice a new application icon, and those who like to use text-zoom during their Internet surfing sessions will be glad to hear that said functionality has returned to OmniWeb.

Finally, the 6.0 update enables automatic graphics switching to drain less power from your computer (especially useful if you’re on a MacBook). Download OmniWeb 6.0 R197948 for free from Softpedia today.
