Apple has seeded its developer community with a new build of OS X Mountain Lion version 10.8.5, asking testers to look for bugs in areas like Wi-Fi, Graphics, and Wake from Sleep.

OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 build 12F13 is a pre-release version of Apple’s current-selling Mac OS version which comes with both Delta and Combo installers.

As usual, developers are asked to refer to the seed note for more details and installation instructions.

The seed note also mentions that OS X Mountain Lion contains no known issues, and lists the following focus areas: Wi-Fi, Graphics, Wake from Sleep, PDF viewing and Accessibility, and Mobile Device Management.

Developers can redeem a download code from Apple's Dev Center.

In tandem with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5, Apple is testing OS X Mavericks (10.9) beta 2. While Mavericks is on track for launch this fall, OS X 10.8.5 doesn’t have a specific launch date set yet.
