Concept combines key features from Nike FuelBand and iPhone

Todd Hamilton has created an amazing iWatch concept based on the work of Thomas Bogner, combining key design elements and software features from the Nike FuelBand and Apple’s own iPhone.

Hamilton’s iWatch concept envisions the much-hyped Apple smartwatch as having vertical controls and orientation, “something Apple would actually produce,” in his opinion.

He believes such a device would be highly dependent on an iPhone or an iPad, as it would fetch its data over Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi or a cellular connection.

“I always have my iPhone close by except for when I’m running or surfing so relying on it for a connection wouldn’t be an issue. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there that would disagree but that’s a whole other discussion,” Hamilton says.

I’m pretty sure Apple will make an iWatch that can connect to the web by itself, but just like Hamilton puts it, that’s a whole other discussion. Whatever Apple decides to do, we can only hope they come out with an iWatch that looks a lot like this. What do you guys think?
