Users of Evernote Hello have been reporting a lot of instances where the reference app would crash on them. Evernote has just pushed out an update to address these woes.

Evernote Hello 2.0.1 fixes many bugs, including one that caused the app to crash on start, one that caused it to crash while taking pictures, and another one which crashed the app when the user saved contacts with names containing an apostrophe (for example, O'Connor).

Some upgrade issues with calendar permissions and availability of Facebook features have been addressed as well. The app now ensures that the “Connect on LinkedIn” button shows after adding a new person who has a LinkedIn profile.

Finally, version 2.0.1 brings “spurious Hello Connect notifications,” and a bunch of localization fixes.

Evernote Hello is compatible with all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models that can handle iOS 5.
