China Mobile is officially selling the newest versions of Apple’s iPhone, a first in the six years since the original Apple smartphone debuted.

Fortune reports, “The [China Mobile] site went live late Monday local time, when it began taking pre-orders for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C,” though the author doesn’t provide a link to the pre-order page for Apple’s new smartphones.

Apple has been trying to get China Mobile as a partner for years, but only recently did the two parties reach an agreement on the marketing and sales terms.

The operator in question is the largest in the country with 740 million subscribers, a market that could expand Apple’s iOS market share two-fold. Pricing details aren’t immediately available, though Chinese customers can expect deals similar to the ones offered through the rest of the world.
