More bug fixes and stability tweaks for the third beta of the 28.0 branch

Mozilla today rolled out not one, but three new Firefox builds for the masses, one Stable, one Nightly (alpha) prone to a lot of crashes, and one that fits somewhere in between.

I’m talking about the Beta channel, of course. Firefox 28.0 Beta 3 is out and ready for download on Mac, Windows, and Linux machines packing a lot of fixes, and perhaps just as many known bugs that need addressing.

Unlike the stable build I reported on a little earlier, the Beta doesn’t come with a handy set of release notes, but you can find all the new features listed in the original beta changelog for the 28.0 branch.
