14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has announced an update to Office for Mac SP2, as promised earlier this week, with the purpose of fixing some nasty bugs. Microsoft Office 2011 14.2.1. is a free download to all Office for Mac 2011 users.
Microsoft says the update is “primarily preventative and targets those who have not yet installed SP2.” Users are urged to run this update to bring their installation of Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 to the latest version, regardless of whether they’ve installed SP2 or not.
Microsoft states that “This update fixes critical issues.” The patch applies to Office 2011, Office 2011 Home and Business Edition, Word 2011, Excel 2011, PowerPoint 2011, Outlook 2011, Office for Mac Standard 2011 Edition, Microsoft Office for Mac Home & Student 2011, and Microsoft Office for Mac Academic 2011.
