14 DAY TRIAL // Avid Apple fans using Mactracker to stay up to speed with all the technical details surrounding Apple products have a pair of new updates to install.
Released hours ago (but not available via software update at the time of this writing), Mactracker 7.2.1 is a new version of the free reference utility for Mac OS X. Superseding the big Mactracker 7.2 update from a few days ago, this incremental update most likely includes minor bug fixes.
On the iOS front, Ian Page recently rolled out Mactracker 3.0, for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Version 3.0 delivers the same set of changes as the desktop (7.2) update, meaning it adds all the latest Apple products to its database, including the latest MacBook Pros with Retina display, the new iMacs with Haswell processors, the iPad Air and iPad mini 2, and the new iPhones unveiled by Apple in September. The latest software releases are also included (Mavericks, iOS 7).
