14 DAY TRIAL // Cynapse has updated its social data-powered GPS tool Localscope to version 3.0 which (if we didn’t know better) can well be the candidate for a new application altogether.
Arriving with a massive changelog and tons of new features and enhancements, Localscope 3.0 iOS has bi-directional integration with iOS Reminders, the ability to search and discover places globally using Factual, a new view for connected car receiver HUDs or other supported secondary displays (also works with the AppleTV over Airplay Mirroring), and iOS 6 support.
The Augmented Reality function has been improved to use the phone's gyroscope “for a much more stable viewing experience,” and the integration with MotionX GPS Drive and Sygic has been updated to support the latest versions of their apps.
Localscope is now iPhone 5-ready, and the developers have included the usual performance improvements and “user experience enhancements.”
