14 DAY TRIAL // Plotagon is a new Mac app (currently in beta) that lets anyone create an animated movie from a written screenplay. You don’t need to manipulate any graphics because Plotagon will do that for you.
All you do is just write the screenplay and the characters act it out! You can specify the music, where the characters are at the beginning of the clip, how and when they move around, what they say to each other (using different mood states), etc.
It’s not exactly a pro-level movie maker, so don’t expect much from it. But it’s insanely funny to see the characters act out what you’ve just written using those Siri voices.
I wouldn’t recommend the full version as it’s pretty darn expensive ($25.00 / €19.00) for what the app can do, but for those of you who have funny stories to tell, I’d say this is one heck of a tool to convey a scenario. The software is currently in beta too, so it’s buggy.
