14 DAY TRIAL // Feral Interactive Ltd. has released LEGO The Lord of the Rings in the Mac App Store. “The Dark Lord Sauron is threatening to destroy Middle-earth brick by brick, and only a Hobbit can stop him!” says the publisher.
As usual, players will experience The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy made from LEGO blocks and a minifigure cast featuring all the important characters, including Frodo the Ring-bearer.
The game also features dialog from the films, and a challenging brick-based version of Middle-earth.
Minimum system requirements include a 1.4GHz processor, 4 gigs of RAM, 128MB of video ram, and 8GB of free hard disk space.
Some graphics cards are not supported, including ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series, NVIDIA 8xxx series and Intel GMA series. The requirements list also mentions OS X 10.7.5 as the minimum OS version supported.
