The Kindle e-reading app for iPhones and iPads has received a new update which delivers new line spacing options, multi-page highlights, and lots more.

One of the most important updates delivered in months, Kindle 3.8 is chock-full of new features and improvements, including the aforementioned new line-spacing options, which include loose, normal, and tight line spacing, to change the page layout.

Multipage highlighting enables you to highlight longer-than-usual passages, and some Print Replica Textbooks notebook improvements are also included to enable users to filter by type (including notes, bookmarks, and color highlights).

You can sync starred notes between devices and, if your eyesight is poor, you can now select a higher maximum font size. Some bug fixes are also included in this release.
