Photo sharing social network KakaoStory has received a new update on iOS platforms with the ability to upload up to 10 photos and an option to delete stories from the past, among other things.

According to the developer, “KakaoStory lets you share life as it happens with photos, status updates and more. Ultra simple and easy to use, KakaoStory is a perfect way to keep up with your friends and share their special moments.”

You can use the free app to let the world know how you feel with mood buttons, Kakao Friend stickers, custom designed filters, and more.

Version 2.2.0 is available today and lets you upload up to 10 photos, choose to delete individual stories, add a link to your post, and change your Kakao Account email address and password.

You can now view a badge count on the app icon for any updates you may have missed, and use the new sticker feature for photos. Lastly, the developer mentions an improved interface for posting stories.

KakaoStory requires iOS 5.0 or later and works with iPhone 3GS and above, iPad 2 and newer, and the latest iPod touch players (fifth-gen). Supported languages include English, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese (which probably explains why the developers never bothered to ask themselves how the ridiculous “Kakao” sounds in other languages).
