Hangouts supports photos, emoji, and even video calls, all for free. And it’s cross-platform, meaning you can connect with people across computers, phones, and tablets alike.
Doing that is even easier on iOS platforms as Hangouts 1.1.2 lets you join on-air. Also included in this update are some well-deserved bug fixes and performance improvements, according to the Mountain View search giant.
Hangouts is a Universal app which requires iOS 6.0 and works natively on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and all versions of the iPad.
