14 DAY TRIAL // JamUp XT, the amp effects processor application for iPhone and iPad, now features an 8-track recorder (via in-app purchase) which supports iTunes music importing, Audio Copy/Paste, and offers sharing options via email, iTunes and SoundCloud.
What the new feature doesn’t support is the iPhone 3GS, unfortunately. However, the new JamUp XT 2.3.0 still only requires iOS 5, so you don’t necessarily have to upgrade to a new firmware just to use the 8-track recorder.
What else is new? The sampler now supports iTunes music importing and email sharing as well, and there’s a new MIDI assignment page, MIDI learning and a MIDI On/Off switch.
Lastly, you can now double tap each knob to reset it to its default value. I’m sure some users will say “praise the Lord” for this cherry on the top. The usual bug fixes are also included.
