Update improves app start-up performance for some users

If you’re a fan of Instagram (heck, who isn’t?), I have some great news for you lot. A new version has been released with bug fixes.

That may not sound like much for the user who has nothing to complain about, but for those avid fans who take dozens of snaps and post them online on a regular basis, you can bet some things are not the way they should be.

Case in point, Instagram 4.2.4 improves app start-up performance on some devices (the developers don’t say which models), and fixes a bug where the app would crash after several seconds while starting. If that’s you, then don’t waste another second and visit the link below.

Instagram continues to work on iOS 6 devices, including the 2009 iPhone 3GS.
