IMDb is offering version 4.1 of its IMDb Movies & TV application for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad tablets, featuring a range of new features and enhancements as well as some assorted bug fixes.

IMDb Movies & TV version 4.1 comes with a hefty dose of changes. For example, you can now “see the whole nine yards with our new photo gallery layout, which shows images without unsightly crops.”

Users can catch up on TV shows they missed by looking for animations sliding in the correct direction when navigating through episodes.

Gestures also get an update: “Swipe both ways! Like always, you can use left to right swipe to go back. But if you made a mistake, you can now swipe right to left to go forward a page!”

The developers tracked down some issues and made the necessary code corrections. They also like to brag about it, too:

“It’s wintertime, so there are some bugs going around. We might not be able to stop you from getting the flu, but we’ve included some bug remedies.”

Finally, iPad users now have the ability to see descriptions on list items. A little “i” button is always there to help out with that. Users can download IMDb Movies & TV on any iDevice with iOS 7.0 installed.
