The Google+ iPhone application has recently received an update that gives it functionality similar to that of iCloud’s Photo Stream - photos taken with the phone’s camera are automatically uploaded to the cloud.

Google markets the iOS app as a tool that “makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler.”

It features Circles, Messenger, Mobile Hangouts, and everything else you need to take the desktop experience mobile.

Google+ version 1.0.9.4278 brings Instant Upload, the ability to see who +1d a post, and a “What's Hot” stream. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later.
