14 DAY TRIAL // The Google Offers application for iPhone and iPod touch has been updated to version 1.4 with notifications for saved offers nearby, as well as new system requirements.
The Google Offers service is available only in the United States. The notification alerts users of great offers, complete with browsing, buying, and redeeming offers nearby.
Using the app you can easily redeem offers without having to print vouchers.
Although Google only mentions “Notifications for saved offers nearby” in the changelog, the search app also has updated system requirements.
Google Offers 1.4 no longer works with iOS 4.3. The app now requires iOS 5.1 and any iDevice that supports the firmware. Which includes iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Tablets are not natively supported.
