Google this week whipped up into shape two of its most popular iOS offerings, including the official YouTube app and the Google Maps app.

Google Maps version 2.3.4 is now available for all iDevice owners with a boost in access to navigation, complete with route and traffic overview. Users can access Tips and Tricks in the side menu, and Arab and Hebrew-speaking users will be glad to know that their language is now supported. This includes voice guidance in navigation, “where available,” says Google.

As usual, the new Google Maps also includes a few bug fixes that enhance the stability and reliability of the software. Google Maps is a free download for all iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users with iOS 6.0 or later installed.
