Google has updated its social networking application that lets you “stay connected and share life as it happens.” Yes, we’re talking about Google+, which now boasts some Instagram functionality.
Google+ version 4.3.0 includes new photo editing features, including filters, rotate, and a cropping tool, a new profile design and a notifications tray, as well as a new set-up system for newcomers.
Users can now control the volume of posts in their stream from individual circles/communities, filter search results by best or most recent, tell their friends about a community (sharing, invites), and re-share posts to communities.
Google+ now displays a count for unread messages in your communities, and includes “additional community moderation features,” according to the release notes.
