14 DAY TRIAL // Gmail users with iPhones and iPads have a new update to install today. The tablet version in particular is getting quite a few noteworthy features and enhancements.
According to the release notes, Gmail 2.7182 is available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, but there are separate enhancements depending on your device.
For example, all users get a “visual update for iOS 7,” which basically means more consistency with Jony Ive’s flat design.
iPad users, however, get a few extras. One such perk is the new navigation bar which you can use to switch between categories and accounts in landscape mode.
Another added benefit is the ability to turn on full-screen view of your messages in portrait. Scrolling will also work better now, and you can finally compose new messages in full screen. Download Gmail for your iOS 6 device and enjoy!
