14 DAY TRIAL // Primate labs has released Geekbench 3.0.0, an update to its cross-platform benchmark tool for measuring your computer's performance.
Mainly focused on compatibility with BlackBerry 10, Geekbench 3.0.0 adds support for sharing benchmark results with other applications, improves interface layout and processor model detection, and fixes a bug where system information was invisible on the BlackBerry Q10.
A bug where Geekbench misreported the processor frequency on the BlackBerry OS is also addressed. Finally, the update also patches a flaw where Geekbench didn't prevent the screen from sleeping when running benchmarks.
BlackBerry enhancement aside, Geekbench 3.0.0 also fixes a bug where stress test output didn’t appear on the command line, as well as a couple of bugs causing uploads to fail (on proxies and / or older hardware).
