Movies by Flixster with Rotten Tomatoes version 6.12 is out today on the iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, featuring new improvements and tweaks, such as an instant-search function to see results as you type them.

A free download for all iDevice owners out there, Movies by Flixster with Rotten Tomatoes lets you browse the top box office movies and movies opening soon, look up showtimes and buy tickets, get critic reviews and watch trailers, view and manage your Netflix queue, stream and download movies and shows in your UltraViolet collection, created lists of movies and shows curated by you, and more.

Movies by Flixster with Rotten Tomatoes version 6.12 brings an all-new instant search feature that lets you see search results as you type, which means you no longer have to enter each result and see if you got what you were looking for.

The new version makes further improvements to the photo browsing experience, and movie pages now have a brief explanation on the MPAA rating (iPhone only). Finally, Flixster Inc. fixed a bug where downloads paused if users switched to another app.

To download Movies by Flixster with Rotten Tomatoes, you need iOS 6.0 and any iDevice that can handle the firmware, starting with iPhone 3GS, iPad second generation, and iPod touch fourth generation.
