Timeline, a new Facebook feature that displays a collection of all your top photos, posts and apps, is making its way to the dedicated iPad app.

Described as “[telling] your life story with a new kind of profile,” Timeline places your photos, your every bit of interaction and all status updates in a (you guessed it) timeline that starts with your first ever login to Facebook.

While non-Facebook fans will surely regard this as an even more intrusive service than Facebook already was, the company run by Mark Zuckerberg is bringing Timeline to the iPad.

According to 9to5mac, Timeline was supposed to arrive on the iPad this month, but the release has been postponed due to last minute bugs found during testing. “The app was already delayed once because of bugs,” a source said, “so, it would not be surprising for the update to be delayed once again.” Facebook is now pushing for a January launch of the service.
