14 DAY TRIAL // Softpedia users are reporting that Facebook 6.7.1 is again available for download via the iTunes App Store, following a lengthy outage whose cause is yet to be determined.
A few hours ago, Apple had seemingly pulled the buggy Facebook 6.7.1 update from its servers, after users reported critical issues with the update.
At the time of this writing, Facebook 6.7.1 is again available for download. The binary seems bug free at the moment. I haven’t had any problems with the client so far (running on iPhone 5), but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that it still doesn’t work for some.
Users trying to access the social network through Safari are also reporting issues, confirming that Facebook is still having server-side problems.
iDevice users can safely visit the App Store (for now) and download Facebook 6.7.1 on their respective iDevices. The minimum requirement is iOS 6.0.
