How to access their advanced controls, compared with their 10.0.2 counterparts

In Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3, producers can now access advanced controls in the Keyer or Luma Keyer effect. This is how to use them, according to Apple.

When a user opens projects created with older versions of Final Cut Pro X - that is, older than 10.0.3 - the advanced controls will not appear in the Keyer or Luma Keyer effects.

Instead, they will pop up when you remove or re-apply the effects in question, according to Apple:

“In order to access the new advanced controls in the Keyer or Luma Keyer effect, simply remove and re-apply the Keyer or Luma Keyer effects where they are used in your project,” says the company.

Apple proceeds to show the Keyer and Luma effects in Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3, with the advanced controls highlighted in the white box (screenshots above), and a set of comparison shots of the same effects in Final Cut Pro X 10.0.2.
