Evernote Food 2.1 is available from the makers of the world’s most popular note-taking solutions, Evernote. In this update users get recipes to go, sharing features, improved search, and a host of other features and improvements.

You can now add your own recipes from Evernote to the gastronomy app's My Cookbook section. Just use a specified notebook or a tag and you’re good to go.

In Japan and China, users can now browse and search for recipes in their native languages thanks to some new local partners.

Sharing recipes is now possible via Facebook, Twitter and email, and the new OpenTable integration now lets you make restaurant reservations from the app. You can also check out venue ratings from Foursquare.

Image uploads are now possible from other albums, and Evernote says it’s made some optimizations to load meal images more quickly. People just can’t wait to drool on their touchscreens!

Search has been improved to churn out better results for recipes and meals. Various other bug fixes and performance improvements have been incorporated as well.

Evernote also notes that all current users will be required to reset their passwords as a precaution, following a recent systems breach at the company.
