The highly-regarded productivity tool known as Evernote has received a major new update with interface improvements, new features, and even some under-the-hood tweaks to enhance sync performance.

Evernote 7.3.0 sports a redesigned home screen with new customization options, including the ability to use one of three new color themes (Light, Dark, and Classic), and options to add, remove, and rearrange sections. Users can also show or hide details for each section now.

Business card scans can be automatically saved to the contacts area automatically if you set Evernote to do that, and audio note quality can be optimized manually.

Some bug fixes are also included. For example, as a result of these code tweaks, sync performance has been improved. An issue causing users to never see card scan results has been addressed as well, and audio notes will no longer end up corrupted. Download Evernote 7.3.0 to get all these improvements today.
