Evernote has released a new version of its powerful productivity tool for Mac users, adding support for OS X 10.9 aka Mavericks, and ScanSnap compatibility.

The ScanSnap Evernote Edition is now fully supported on the Mac, including on Mavericks. A collaborative effort between Evernote and Fujitsu, this cool printer “scans, senses, and autofiles your photos, receipts, business cards, and documents into your designated Evernote notebooks.”

Scanned business cards are fed information pulled from LinkedIn and then get turned into rich contact notes, automatically.

On the iOS front, a recent update enables iPhone and iPad owners to see notes displayed on a map. Mobile users can also customize their home screen layout now, and there’s a new option to Create new Saved Searches from the search results screen.
