Update adds support for viewing all your photos in the app

Dropbox has released an updated iOS client application that allows users to view all their photos in the app.

It wasn’t clear to me at first what the developers meant to say by “support for viewing all your photos in Dropbox,” because I could view photos in the non-updated version residing on my iPhone just fine.

I asked myself, do they mean all my photos from my entire life, even the ones that didn’t make it into a digital copy? Couldn’t be. Most likely they were referring to my local photos – the photos in my Camera Roll. But no, they weren’t.

What the developers meant was actually much simpler than that.

It creates a section for photos. Regardless of where you have photos stored in your Dropbox (various folders and subfolders), the Photos tab now displays them all, in chronological order. Check it out. It’s really neat!
