After releasing version 2.6.5 as a stable update for Mac, Windows and Linux customers, Dropbox Inc. today released a new experimental build addressing some bugs in the 2.7 branch.

Dropbox 2.7.33 Experimental is the first of many betas to come with a focus on fixing bugs for the next stable update of the popular cloud application.

Notable highlights from this release include new translations, fixes for bugs that could prevent the software from starting for some users, fixes for shared folder invitations failing, and other small tweaks.

As usual, if you rely on Dropbox for productivity reasons, or simply care deeply about your data, you should only use the latest stable version (in this case, Dropbox 2.6.5). For those of you who don’t mind living on the edge, digging for bugs, you can grab the experimental version and have a go at it.
