A new experimental build of Dropbox is available for download on Mac, Windows, and Linux computers. Most of the changes in this update are targeted at the Windows crowd.

Dropbox 2.7.38 Experimental was released in tandem with the stable 2.6.13 update earlier today. Just like the stable release, this build mainly addresses bugs in the software, but also adds a couple of new features.

For example, Windows users are getting WPAD proxy support. A bug that affects manually moving the Dropbox folder is also addressed, and users will now get better error messaging when temp direction permissions are bad.

The update further includes the removal of Windows desktop shortcuts for DfB (Dropbox for Business) users on unlink of the second account and uninstall. Finally, any issues with desktop login and view on web links for older browsers are now addressed.
