14 DAY TRIAL // Dropbox Inc. has uploaded to its servers a new Final build of the company’s popular cloud software with the same name. Dropbox 2.4.9 is immediately available for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.
Version 2.4.9 is believed to be a final build, as it bares no indications that it is an “experimental” (beta) release. However, there is no changelog in sight, making it difficult to know what’s new.
Dropbox also doesn’t have much of an interface, except for the drop-down menu in OS X, or the preference pane shared by all three versions of the software (Mac, Windows, Linux).
In any case, if you’re laying around the house bored, stuffed with turkey, not paying attention to the nonsense running on that new TV you bought on Friday, download the new Dropbox and have a blast looking for any changes. If you find any, share with the rest of the class.
