14 DAY TRIAL // Dropbox has been updated to version 1.6.14 recently. The new release is particularly relevant for Mac OS. The version for the other supported desktop platforms (Windows and Linux) has received no modifications.
Mac users should no longer have trouble with icon overlays not being updated and Growl notifications should now work on Snow Leopard (the improvement has already been confirmed by some users).
The development team also put some effort into repairing the problem with the client hanging on Leopard at startup. Also, the release has been upgraded to Growl SDK 1.2.3.
Dropbox team advises that Finder needs to be restarted for the changes to take effect. This can be easily done by typing “killall Finder” command in a terminal window.
