On the eve of its iPhone 5s launch, Apple is distributing an incremental iOS 7.0.1 update which addresses certain bugs with the newest iPhone models (including the 5c).
iOS 7 has been out for only a day now and already Apple is working hard to patch some bugs. While the Cupertino giant is reluctant to say which areas of the OS were in need of maintenance, iOS 7.0.1 is said to deliver “bug fixes and improvements.”
It’s not for everyone, though. Apple carefully outlines that the new firmware is to be installed only on the newest iPhone models, the 5c and the 5s. “Available via iTunes and wirelessly,” the update is free to download to everyone who owns the recently launched iPhones.
