14 DAY TRIAL // The people at win.rar GmbH have released a new version of their powerful compression utility for Mac and Windows users, delivering several enhancements and a ton of bug fixes.
RAR 5.0.1 Beta 1 allows archives that have been created in RAR 5 to include an optional, quick open information controlled with -qo[-|+] switch. Users can now open the archive contents in graphical interface more rapidly.
Performance has been improved for archives containing both quick open information and service records, while the default parameters of quick open information have been optimized to achieve faster open time.
