Update addresses an issue with dropped frames while recording, other bugs

The Twitter-owned Vine has received a bunch of improvements on iOS platforms by means of a small software update released in the iTunes App Store earlier today.

Vine version 1.3.1 contains “several bug fixes and crashes,” according to the release notes, which I hope don’t speak the truth. At least not that last bit about v1.3.1 including crashes.

According to the developers, the update fixes an issue with dropped frames while recording, patches a bug where uploads would sometimes disappear, and includes “crash fixes and other miscellaneous improvements.”

The support team encourages customers to reach out to [email protected] or @vineapp with any issues or suggestions they might have.

Vine requires iOS 5 and works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch 3rd generation, iPod touch 4th generation, iPod touch 5th generation and iPad.
